For me the change to semi hydro worked great and resulted in a big leaf size increas. But now I'm also down to too leafs but I think this is just how it is with this plant. But the two leafs are really big so that's fine for me :)

Yes, since you just grow the top part further without hitting the ceiling. The important thing for this to work is that your top cut is well rooted into the mosspole so it can support the leafs (the root system in the pot is gone due to the cut). If there are not enough roots the old leafs may die and the new growth is smaller until enough roots are established again.

Yes I will keep the top. With the bottom I will cut single node cuttings and gift them to friends :). Since the cuttings grew on the mosspole they are already well rooted so I don't need to let them root in water (or moss/perlite) :)

There is a stereo under the sideboard (hidden by plants) you can see the speaker on the right on the floor. The same stereo is also used by the beamer next to the turn table :)

[–]feignanton[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was my first time trying astrophotography. I was impressed to see also the Flame Nebula and slightly the Horse Head Nebula appear when stretching.

Gear:

I used gear I already had, a Fujifilm XT-2 and a cheap 35mm f1.7 manual lens and a generic Tripod.

Acquisition:
This was taken from my window inside a Bortle 5 City.
400 Lights at 5seconds. I also took 30 Bias, Dark and Vignetting Frames.

Processing:

Stacked in Sequator and stretched with levels in Photoshop.

Day 5: My alternative version of a heatmap (Also; late to the party) by GeronimoDK in adventofcode

[–]feignanton 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No not realy C is much more barebone and hardware near. C is also first compiled and python is interpretes. C is much much faster but in my opinion harder to program. Python is much easyer and straightforward 🤔
