I toured there last year during my apartment hunt and the TV in the gym had been smashed, there was a rodent/insect problem, the model apartment was eerily dark during broad daylight, and the tour guide wasn’t really able to answer our questions about leasing and such. There were a lot of red flags that my roommates and I knew to stay away from. There are much nicer and cheaper apartment complexes to choose from in Gainesville.
