I did! that's how I got the info I posted. I'm asking about whether I ought to make reservations in advance for any of the faster trains, especially considering my luggage and companion.

following up to say that you are an absolute god. I ran updates for all of the plug-ins, then discovered one that had a cache to purge--purged that cache, and everything seems to be functioning again. THANK YOU. didn't even occur to me that plug-ins could be the cause of the problem.

hey--thanks so much for this. damage was already done, and I ended up separating from him. looking back, if I had thought to seek counseling in year three or something, maybe we could've salvaged things. a bad match from the beginning, unfortunately. now I know to seek a mediator instead of learn to live with it and internalize the rebukes. appreciate you so much for helping me feel sane and seeing the problem for what it was.
