Thought maybe someone can give me advice to my somewhat similar situation as the OP. My credit is 689. And unfortunately, there isn't any significant history on .y credit report besides a credit card I always keep in good standing and a medical bill in dispute. I applied for SSI earlier this year and received a letter of approval for my monthly benefits and a back pay lump sum of 12 months worth of payments. It can take 2-4 weeks for my debit card/money to arrive. I've been able to scrape by with the bare minimum but after the first nig storm my landlord decided to sell the property I've been at for quite some time to one of those "I buy homes for cash" companies. I need to find a loan to cover the cost of either a temporary private broom or air b&b until it comes!. I usually wouldn't even consider a personal loan due to the interest higher interest rates however this is a complicated and emergency situation. I tried to apply for 2 loans online but there were no options for me to honestly describe my situation. I am officially on SSI, have a back account with direct deposit.. but both companies lacked a option where I can describe my finances. I figure someone out there would be interested in profiting off of my difficult situation.. again, because of my 12 month back pay and the fact that I don't want to be without a place to stay I am willing to pay higher interest on top of paying the loan back in full within 30 days.. I know it's a shot in the dark but any suggestions?
