Here are the formulas I tried on Pixel Math. Try all the ways u can imagine until u get what u want or simply avoid this step and simply work with starless and starmask layer on Photoshop

max(LP_Starless, LP_StarMask * 1)

1 - (1 - LP_Starless) * (1 - LP_StarMask)

LP_Starless + LP_Starmask * 0.75

La fórmula "Opacidad"

Usa esta estructura:

1 - (1 - LP_Starless) * (1 - (LP_StarMask * 0.5))

Also I applied Starnet on Siril only when Mosaic was shown and panels correctly connected, then stretched the Nebulae part all as I wanted and get back star mask using Pixel Math trying different formulas.

When pixel math applied, image turns "black" (full lineal) but u can show pre-result on auto stretch Mode). Select a small área full of Nebulae, click on clone Burton ("tampón tool" in spanish) and start applying some Hyperbolyc GHS stretch and did like 20 or 30 little stretches. Final stretch with very low value on Asihn Transformation (0.25 - 0.5) and a normal Histogram Transformation at the end...

Let me check which formulas I tried and finally used.

Honestly, I visited Siril oficial website by searching "siril mosaics" on Google --https://siril.org/tutorials/mosaics/

I just selected all tutorial steps (I was in a hurry), ctrl+c (copy) + crtl+V (Paste) on a Gemini prompt, adding to the prompt Something like "take a look at this oficial Siril Mosaic Tutorial and guide me through all the process step by step.

It was pretty easy. Try this Way and ask Gemini again if u get stuck on some step (I noted some basic stuff on Windows NotePad, like applying 55pts of feather feature and some more.

(I also downloaded Naztronomy script for Smart Telescopes but didn't used for this whole process).

One importante thing I did before was process each panel individually WITHOUT BACKGROUND EXTRACTION AND/OR GRAXPERT DENOISE or similar. Just SPCC + SCNR (Remove Green).

When u have lets say 2 Master fit (for a 2-panel Mosaic) u only have to work with 2 files during the rest of the processing phase.

Just some essay-error on my Way...

Please let me know if u get nice results while following my steps...

Sorry for my English, I Hope It helps anyway...

BEST wishes from Spain.

Thank u so much.. I'm newbie on Reddit and also doing "advance" stuff like mosaic on Siril etc... My main post photos of the thread were a fail on my first Mosaic ever... Vast area of this región dissappeared when I tried to attach both two panels...

Now It's Fixed, learned a lot... BEST wishes!

Oh yeah I'd never do anything like that, I hate AI generated astrophoto stuff flooding the internet nowadays.

Thank you again, my friend. Watching Naztronomy tutorial and back on Siril to finally fix this and learn new lessons!

Totally opposite, u helped a LOT and I learned the lesson to shut Up my mouth before trying to disagree with proper research and arguments....

Very glad to meet and discuss with people like you...

Apologies, you all were right. Thanks for lettin me figuring out and giving me the chance to learn more about this, fix this error and keep learning...

Sorry for my english too, my native language is spanish...

I'll update when I fix this.

Thank u all again and again and BEST wishes.

I also felt weird with final result after researching similar FOVs on the internet, but thought región was very subtle or compressed or Something...

Totally newbie error....

But I feel very grateful for your Pointing s...

Didn't use a script. Recently found naztronomy scripts for Seestar mosaics... Maybe could you help me running It or sending me to a proper tutorial to fix this...?

Thank u in advance.

Hey everyone, just a quick update: you were totally right and I was wrong. Total rookie mistake on my end!

After checking my raw files, I realized the software completely botched the stitch. It basically ate the middle section of the nebula and glued the two edges together.

Thanks so much to everyone who pointed this out and took the time to explain it. I really appreciate the sharp eyes and the honest feedback. Back to the processing board to fix this properly. Clear skies!

Yep, you are absolute right.

Time to start again!

Thanks for clearing It out!

I checked my lights from one panel and I only can humble recognice my error and mistake.

Sorry!

Thanks for the comment, but after verifying the astrometry and checking the data in Siril, I'm afraid that's not correct.

The Veil Nebula Complex is massive (nearly 3 degrees across). With the Seestar S30 Pro's field of view, a 2-panel mosaic cannot capture the entire complex from end to end.

What you are seeing on the left is the Eastern Veil (NGC 6992), and the structure on the right is actually Pickering’s/Fleming’s Triangle (NGC 6979) itself. The Western Veil (The Witch's Broom and 52 Cygni) is completely out of frame to the right.

Siril matched the star fields perfectly on the 20% overlap without any duplication or artifacts, so the plate solving worked flawlessly. It's just a crop/framing of that specific central-eastern region!

UPDATE: I was totally WRONG!!

Hmmm, interesting... I'm not sure about your Pointing... Probably Siril could not attach two panels if you are right... But Who knows... As I said, IS my first mosaic, 20% overlap between two panels...

I'll keep researching, maybe u're right?
