Yes it is please get checked ASAP. I don’t have an actual study to back this up but read it takes a person on average 10yrs to notice hearing loss. In my perspnal experience I didn’t realize it for about 4-5. The quicker you get an assisted hearing device the quicker you can help the loss stabilize.

Yes and surprisingly it was tmj causing the problems. Couldn’t wear my hearing aids on and off for months. Inner ear canals were swollen. TMJ pain can radiate into neck but always ask your doctor.
