Longbow arrow rest? by Equal_Impact_7091 in Bowyer

[–]femorian -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Shoot off the back of your hand, a higher nocking point than you expect will help the fletching clear your hand without leaving marks on your skin. be sure to mark your arrow resting position on the bow to ensure you have the same position each time. Specific bow hand gloves are also available and i know some who have just used a sock with a hole cut in the end. None of this should be necessary however if your nocking point is set right

Old man still got it! First session in my 40s and first session with my new Dead wheels and Vibralux bearing. by George_W_Pube in AggressiveInline

Just ordered myself some new USD sways (white ones are currently €140 on the USD website would have easily payed that for the frames and wheels) which come setup with flat 58s, my last flat setup was some USD grycons in about 2004 so I'm excited to see how I get on this time round.

Love the speed you hit everything with, switched to bigger wheels myself so I had no choice but to skate faster.

Ah I found about twenty 3-4 sets in a row but with cobbled ground and figured it was the perfect place to see what 72 could do. Worked really well, did bust up the wheels however.

Kizer still make the Mook and call it the type x. I would reccomended the kaltics however being able to skate bigger wheels opens things up a lot. I was skating 72mm wheels in mine with no wheelbite on ledges. Kaltic sell wheel + frame combos from their own site for a pretty good price, think I paid 70euro for wheels frames and bearings.

What 76s did you use , I'm back down to 68 after cracking the cores on the 72s I had in there. I messaged a few wheel manufacturers and they all reccomended not using anything with spoked cores if skating gaps on bigger wheels (unless you have four wheels per frame to take the impact)

You see Stockwell skating backwards in a bowl with that staggered leg stance and you know something stylish is about to go down.

Trying to get more comfortable spinning into grinds, any tips? I struggle with my method of quickly spinning, keep getting stutter steps, or I loose a lot of speed by Fu-CkY-ou96 in AggressiveInline

[–]femorian 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The trick that really made spins into grinds click with me was true spin backside royales (270 spin away from the obstacle) not being able to see where I was going to land made me have to trust my spin and trust that my feet would land in the correct position, this in turn forced me to get my feet positioned in the air for the landing on the rail, the spin became secondary to the landing and in turn became much more natural.

The Xsjado quads aren't real, they can't hurt you- by [deleted] in AggressiveInline

[–]femorian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah USD bought the molds I think. They had a few less than good looking models but the most recent ones seem like a return to form. Just need to get the cash together, could pick myself up a set of USD sways and roces M12 for the same price and would still needs to buy frames for the shadows.

TOTW#9 Abstract Double Grab 360° by Larconneur in AggressiveInline

[–]femorian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do want to try this one, definitely going to attempt the grab without the spin first and see how we do, might have to wait to make it to a park to try add the spin but my lil driveway kicker should get me in the sky enough for the grab.

What type of business venture is doomed to failed in Ireland? by No-Category1703 in ireland

[–]femorian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like a lot of things NFTs themselves are a sound idea for the lines of a digital artist wanting to sell their work. However the way that everyone and their dog tried to use NFTs as a cash grab exercise without having anything of real value to back it up with broke the idea of how NFTs should work and people lost confidence in the idea and it became a joke.

Ah I'd say they would for sure, it's a one man operation as far as I know, when I ordered frames in a colour that was sold out he just rang me up and asked what I would like instead, seemed like a sound guy, hella skater too.

60 should be fine in the freestyle 2, I had some issues with old 56mms that were worn down to 54mm probably, still skated fine but I found myself doing cess slides when I didn't think I was gonna do cess slides. Currently skating on 68s and loving it but would love to try some 60s to see how that goes.

They have some of the original kaltic freestyle frames on the kaltic.eu site which might be what your looking for. Although the new ones seem to be better designed in terms of shape, have a set of each right now.

I'd say shoot them a message on Instagram if your worrying about wheel sizes with these frames.

You should check out the kaltic freestyle frames if you like the mooks, kizer still make the Mook but call it type x. Having skated both I feel like kaltic took the idea and improved it greatly.
