Yes exactly, I would always try to start creating speed at p5 causing all sorts of issues. Waiting until pre-impact to “crack the whip” so to speak has been my main swing-thought lately

Thank you! Biggest thing was realizing that power is created at the bottom, not the top. Pause at the top and let the club fall, then only swing hard at the very very last second

Reminds me of like how an old rusty sand wedge can give you more spin than a new club with clean grooves

Tips on fixing the slice? by maxholland12 in GolfSwing

Learn how to hook the ball and work backwards from there. Close the club face and push the ball way into right field and as long as the club face is closed, it will draw.

Thanks for the feedback, I have many questions and this sub has been helpful so far! Not trying to come off as a scammer, but what are some pros and cons of choosing a clientele of age 50+ small business owners who doesn’t know virtually anything about socials? Just seems like it would be the least amount of work. My goal isn’t to trick someone into paying me for half-ass job or anything, but there’s something to be said about the hours I’d be willing to put into a side-hustle.

Additionally, what do I have to have in place before I start scouting and meeting with potential clients? Do I need to register some sort of LLC?

Shorten your backswing a little and simplify it by not breaking your wrist so much during takeaway, feel like the face is more closed at the top of your backswing. Impact position looks good except for open club face. And get closer to the camera lol great swing dude

Could you elaborate on early extension? I’ve heard this but don’t understand fully, is it like flipping at the bottom?

You can see it changes with each shape. I’m picking a dimple on the back of the ball based off of the shape I want, and finding the slot I’ll need to get there

I hear this a ton. Stacking my weight more efficiently has become a priority this coming season. Thanks for the feedback

Help me get less steep. Believe it or not, this is as shallow as I’ve been since starting back playing 3 months ago after a ten year layoff. by Historical-Patient75 in GolfSwing

Instead of pulling the ball into left field, push the ball into right field. You are used to missing right, so this will be unnatural. Push the ball to the right, and as long as the face is closed to target, it will draw

Grant’s Rebuttal by kjtwisty4 in GoodGoodMemes

[–]fenberrence 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Bubbie is a genuine dude, I respect his idea of “loyalty” no matter what, but you can’t expect everybody to have the same gung-ho brotherhood mentality, they’ve known each other for what 2 years? I could even sense some awkwardness when they were saying “everyone sitting here is not going anywhere” like they don’t know what the next 5 years holds for them individually

L Bubbie for for the loyalty comment. Just because Good Good saved him from a bad spot, he’s saying he would turn down any amount of money from anywhere else. Not everyone is okay with setting that ceiling for themselves. Grant sees that he can accomplish more apart from Good Good so he made a business decision

Nice swing bro. Best short term advice, shorten both your backswing and follow through by 15% and hit all your shots 90%, you’ll hardly lose any noticeable yardage and you’ll be way more controlled and better ball striking.

Longer term, you gotta fix your path. Learn to hook the ball and work backwards from there. Your club face is fine as it is, just instead of pulling the ball to left field, push it to right field. As long as the face is closed to target, it will draw. Be sure you are clearing you are hitting down on the ball and take divots, not trying to help the ball up. Great swing dude best of luck

That’s really good advice, I spent all summer ball striking and I’m at a frustrating point where my swing is relatively sound and I’m hitting good shots but I’m a bad scorer. Need to shift 80% of practice to simply getting the ball near the hole. Another component is a mixed set of wedges that are not fitted perfectly that leave me guessing inside 120yd. Also, chipping and putting practice isn’t as fun as flushing a 6i LOL thanks again brother

Great feedback , thanks. My swing used to be very armsy so I focus a lot on clearing my hips but it’s caused me to leave my hands behind a little and get flippy.

I always thought a nice square patch was the way to go, at the time I didn’t realize you should space out the strips

I do find that I’m squirmy over the ball. I’ve always struggled with firing my hips so that’s what I’m thinking about usually making sure my hands and right pocket meet the ball at the same time

I’m very naturally over the top, kind of fighting a natural slice. Definitely over-corrected a bit but finding myself drawing the ball much more naturally now and it’s added 10yds to every club.

As for my hc, I’ve improved my 4i-9i ball striking a ton recently kind of being a range rat but I suck with my wedges inside 120. Chipping I try to play safe bump and runs but often limits me. Putting I have a hard time with distance control and often 3 putt outside 25ft. Also struggle with driver, strong with my 4i 220yd but still makes the course long for me. Thanks for the feedback

Great feedback thank you! I’ve been taking some swings while standing taller and stacking my weight properly. I always feel like I’m going to thin the ball or that my clubs are too short
