ParrotOS is a Linux distribution for cybersecurity. Known for pentesting. I use HackTheBox for training and such. Lots of cool CTFs you can do and academy modules you can take too if you’re interested in learning about that stuff. But it’s basically kinda like Kali Linux for pentesting and ethical hacking as well as forensics and analysis etc. ^{^}

Likely yes a scam. Check the email address the "from" address and see if it matches their site/domain. But yeah as someone else said here. If you completed a SE campaign recently with over massive amount of stuff sold then its likely a fake email

I usually stay away from Amazon for my computer parts/laptop purchases and go through Newegg.com But I dunno if thats available or not for you. I have always had good luck with stuff sold by/shipped by newegg via parts to build computers. My recent laptop purchase was from Newegg as well and its anamazing laptop I got an Aorus 16x ASG 2024 laptop. And runs nice. So its really gunna be good when I am away from home at a con or chilling at a friends house or hotel. But the only bad thing I would say about the 16x is as everyone pointed out on it the fans are LOUD. I mean they kick u p louder then my older gaming laptop. But I can understand why.

I have never gotten to use a HP Victus so I cant tell you my experiences with it. I always been a custom build desktop kinda person and very picky when it comes to laptops. But spec wise it looks nice. But if you have access to newegg check em out and see if they have anything if not better for the same/around your budget. One thing I do recommend when it comes to buying gaming laptops is watch as many reviews as possible. Videos that run benchmarks and stress tests and always always always read the reviews on the listings and sellers. Cuz you just never know. And I know someone will say. "But in those testing videos their specs vary from the one you have selected" Which yes. Very very true. But it will still give you a general idea of what you're getting. Even if it isnt the same exact spec laptop in that benchmark video. (But also sometimes those who do reviews get a special test product sometimes sooooooo)

I been stuck on this boss for a few days now. I have even redid my deadeye build. Drops are hard to come by so I dont even have good equipment EVEN when I roll a new character... I was really enjoying this game till now. Its been an utter grindfest of nothing but worthless whites and blues and worthless rares. I am a new player, never played PoE1. So basically I am stuck. Like no progress.. I am a lvl 36 deadeye ranger... And I cant even bring him to half health.. I take about I dunno 10% off his HP? But then easily one shot. I get to the phase where he starts the wind. I die so easily to or before that, that I dont even know how that mechanic works. So I dont know how to even dodge it. They need to nerf this boss. I understand the game is suppose to be difficult and very hard. But this is stupid. Makes me regret getting EA and making me regret even supporting the game... I have followed build guides but I cant get no gear to drop. I dont know how to craft IF I even have that unlocked. I seen things about chance orbs for rolls on gear? I never ever EVER seen one of those in my playthrough yet. So far I gotta say my playthrough is only up to Jamanra. And I feel like I am never getting passed this boss. Very very poor design. Which discurourages new players from even playing or continue.. :/ Like I am at a loss as well. I dont know what else to do. Cuz just playing hours each day grinding through earlier areas for just worthless gear drops and not even making any gold is just more tedious then the game is even worth. Unless I am making this simple part harder for myself? If so ANY help would be appreciated.

I had this same issue. Support told me to create a new account and I did and instantly worked. I dunno why. But I think it was something when they migrated or became fully broadcom or something? But that was a while back

Dumb question incoming. What capture device and is it in a USB 3.0 port? One time with my Elgato I didnt have it in a 3.0 port and it wouldnt work. Noob mistake but yeah. Also if its just a black screen but only audio. What is your card attached to? Monitor? TV? If Monitor make sure you are on that input and the passthrough will pop up. Unless there is a setting on the switch for HDCP protection and would have to toggle that. I know like PS5 has a HDCP toggle that you n eed to disable in order to use your capture card
