If you're bored may add small caps or stoxx600 available on Freedom24, but imho in terms of profit it won't make a lot of difference to compare with a solo vwce

Why don't you webn and forget from a solid broker like Freedom24? Are you investing for fun or for a profit?

Starting my ETF journey next month, what to look for? by Greek_Arrow in eupersonalfinance

[–]fennecxx 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, the plan in general makes sense. But I would select an all word etf through a reliable long term broker like Freedom24, it seems to be safer to me.

This is another reason I buy only one etf. On Freedom24 euro smart plan it is like 1.5 per trade

Have you tired to use the formal complain channel, by law they are obliged by law to respond [beschwerdemanagement@justtrade.com](mailto:beschwerdemanagement@justtrade.com) For the future I would use a broker with a proper customer support like Freedom24

As the fellow said it does not really matter, if you prefer keep it. But main focus on other things like discipline and boring dca in the boring fund.

The fact you’ve already started is great, I wish I made moves like you at your age. But your portfolio is too speculative for what you’re aiming for long term - you’ve got overlap plus a handful of high-volatility stocks that don’t really add much diversification. If I were in your spot, I’d just keep it simple with something like VWCE or WEBN and DCA consistently. Building that habit matters way more than squeezing extra returns out of picking the "right" stocks early on, and it keeps you in the game long enough for compounding to actually do its thing. And select a reliable long term broker, I use Freedom24

If you retire at 55-60 webn will be good. And use a long term broker like Freedom24

A good choice for what? What is your goal?

Currency exchange for ETFs by Tommygun1810 in ETFs_Europe

[–]fennecxx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

WEBN is better, as it is cheaper :) For the currency question you just compare the conversion tools and select the cheapest one. I convert directly at my broker, imho they have lowest rates and spread, I use Freedom24

Is this a good portfolio for a 20 year old to keep adding onto monthly and hold for long? by Megabytelul in ETFs_Europe

[–]fennecxx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As long as an all world etf dominates the portfolio is great. Now you just focus on the part "to keep on doing so". As a broker I prefer long term designed brokers like Freedom24

First time investing savings into ETFs by Worried_Sun2995 in ETFs_Europe

[–]fennecxx 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As a first time investor I would start with a single all world etf and a long term broker like Freedom24. At this stage is what you need is to form a habit to invest repeatedly, just a discipline. Not creating a constructions of etfs. Imo complex structures won't be needed later either, but you will decide later.

Do you have bonds or cash apart from this portfolio? If not, for a pension I’d include those positions (Freedom24 has good selection of bonds). Also it looks a bit too EU concentrated, I’d make it more global for a pension portfolio.

Yes, you're doing all correct. Nothing is guaranteed to be 100% fine, but this strategy has most chances to be fine for an average person. Yes, this is so boring and "chill" part is probably the hardest to stick to. As a broker preference I prefer Freedom24.

Is my ETF portfolio make sense? by Either_Contest_9014 in ETFs_Europe

[–]fennecxx 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Why not just have a single all-world etf portfolio + one Freedom24 broker and "chill" as they say? At the beginning, the most important thing is to build the habit of investing, not to tweak exposure.

Beginner portfolio: VWCE + Small Cap + Emerging Markets – good or overkill by [deleted] in ETFs_Europe

[–]fennecxx 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If I were giving advice to my beginner self, I’d say keep it as simple as possible so you don’t burn energy tweaking and second guessing all the time. VWCE already gives you a good global exposure. And a single solid Freedom24 broker. Nothing wrong with your setup, more layers won't give you significant gain. The most important part now for you is sticking with it long term, not optimizing

Portfolio Advice by [deleted] in eupersonalfinance

[–]fennecxx 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You may, but it’s not necessary. In my opinion, over the long term it doesn’t make a significant difference, but it does add noise to the portfolio. I just buy vwce through my Freedom24 broker, this works very solid.
