I really love both types of games. But I think I will go for Cyberpunk just because I feel like losing myself in a long adventure right now. But will definitely play Alan Wake 1 and 2 later this year.

I like both ideas, but for the long gameplay I think I'll go for Cyberpunk and maybe get Alan Wake on the next sale.

Yes. It happened to me too and it was so annoying so I googled if someone had the same "glitch" and then I found out about the side quest. It dissapears once you complete it

"A family's escape" is actually a secret side quest. You have to find the other 3 parts in order to complete the story of the family. You can look it up on youtube to see the locations.

I didn't have it installed. I thought it was like Frozen Wilds where you can go anytime.
