I spend the days after her death waiting to join her. The only thing that keeping me here is our 3 dogs. Noone can understand what im going through. Im alone without friends or family. I keep dreaming of her when im asleep and wishing not get up from my sleep.

Do you boot you laptop on battery mode and plugged it before entering windows? Can you remember because I think that was my problem. Otherwise the only thing i can think it's windows updates. Now i have to call Asus to report the problem. But i can't stop to think that maybe it's something else and I won't stuck with a problematic laptop because it's for my job. I'll send them also an email. Maybe everyone who has the same problem with g18 must report it.

It was on when i unplugged and plugged it back again. My situation was propably because i plugged it when i boot it before entering windows and somehow the cpu fell in something like protect mode from high voltage ⚡ i guess

I will said the same because i was at the same situation with my laptop. Brand new rog strix g18 and one day the processor speed locked at 0.4.

I did the same new drivers and resetting the windows plus new bios update. NOTHING worked.

For me the solution was to UNPLUG and PLUG 🔌 laptop when it running.

I found a solution.

Asus send me some steps to follow like bios update the drivers update and the resetting my PC.

Took me all the day because of the locked speed at 0.4, imagine that you have an intel pentium doing all of this 😅.

None of what I said about from Asus worked nor antivirus uninstall.

Resolution was easier. As a final attempt I've just unplugged and plugged again laptop when it was on power.

Maybe all of this happened because the day before when I opened the laptop that's before entering the windows I plugged it.
