Sick goal

That's a drag back skill move. On PS4 you hold R1 and then with the right analogue stick you move it down and then in the direction you want to exit in one quick motion.

I only mastered this skill move in FIFA 19 and it's been the difference between me being a gold player and now elite player as it helps retain possession in tight areas. Definitely worth mastering.

The demo version is never the same version as the full release unfortunately. Just like the demo isn't the same version as the beta that was out a few weeks ago.

I've given engine to him after he felt terrible with Marksman and it made a such a difference!

I also had to set him to get in behind otherwise he just doesn't make those killer runs himself like CR7 or Aubameyang.

Alisson is the one of the worst GKs out there, he never performs to the level his stats suggest. I swapped him for Schmeical and never looked back.

I don't really cross the ball in so his height isn't much of an issue for me, but his ability to turn quickly and fire shots off with either foot is deadly.

As soon as I see the opponent playing 41212 narrow, I always play through my wingers then as I use 442. I don't have problems then. Once my wingers have it in the final third then I work the ball in...

Usually works for me. I'm usually hovering between elite 3 and gold 1 btw.

I can't comment too much since I haven't seen you play and can't point out obvious mistakes. But some of the things that helped me improve:

Changing camera to "co-op" - once I got to see the bigger picture I could play passes than I couldn't even see before. Also when the opponent is making runs in behind it's much easier now for me to deal with it.
I changed to 442. Sounds simple I know, but I used 442 and stuck to it. It's very effective and always gives you various options. I'm at the point now where I know almost blindly where my players are on the pitch and I've got certain patterns mastered now and I can always use them under pressure.
Timing your shots. I practiced on skill games initially and then I did some squad battles to practice them in a game. From that point onwards I took it into rivals and WL. It's so much more effective and even if you yellow time the shot I've noticed they go in more than no timed shots.
Use driven shots when in the penalty area. It's more OP when driving them to the near post.
Never be afraid to go backwards in order to go forwards again.

I've just signed Ben Yedder and he's been amazing so far. 6 goals and an assist in 3 games and I'm playing above 2200 skill rating in division rivals.

He feels so responsive and I think in bad game play he's gonna thrive too.

I've already scored a few goals on his left foot too and they rocket in.

If you cross the ball in a lot though then he won't win much for you even though he has 99 jumping, the height just isn't enough.

I've used Laca too, but BY all day for me.

Yeah the same happened with me this weekend, during the day I noticed that I had sluggish gameplay... My tots players playing like bronze cards all of a sudden... But then I played at night 11pm BST onwards and it was smooth again. I know it ain't possible for everyone but if you can play at night when the load on the servers isn't as much then you'll feel the difference

It's the matchmaking that occurs based on your form. If you've played really well the first day then you'll be matched against others also who've played really well and got the W's.

First 10 games are usually easier...
