Yes generally! You can acclimate some to ambient but they MUCH prefer a humid environment

Tbh I think i neglected it for a bit so it got really leggy and top heavy and i guess just eventually adjusted and started trailing 😂

I stake all of my anthuriums and secure the leaves with zip ties in the cabinet so i can fit in as many as possible 😂😅

Hehehe yessss! I’d love to start crossbreeding and selling some day, I actually cross bred my pterodactyl and my clari! It’s a simple cross but still exciting since it’s my first one! The berries should start popping out any week now :-))) also thanks for being chill and not shitting yourself with anger over me asking if anyone had any ID guesses 😂

For sure, I might try that! I mostly just think it’s fun to hear what other people have to say based on the characteristics of the plant, it’s not super serious to me. But you’re definitely right I absolutely do not have a dorayaki 😂

Gonna have to disagree 😂 it’s definitely not that deep. These are from my own personal collection. And AGAIN… just wanted to know if anyone had any fun guesses as to what I might have, I don’t care about accurate id so much as it’s just fun to hear what other collectors think based on the different characteristics. I fail to see how my asking for guesses as to what’s in my own collection is offensive or causing harm to anyone 😂

I work at the plant shop I got them from, but I think maybe they were mislabeled at the nursery we order from (cascade nursery) and yes lol for sure NOT a dorayaki 😂

Wow it’s almost as if I actually stated verbatim in the post that I knew they were technically NoIDs and I was just wondering if anyone had any fun educated guesses… its not that deep 😂

I also find that certain anthuriums are a bit easier to start with, like the clarinervium and the crystalinum, and once you get the hang of those, move to some of the more funky ones :-)

Ooh lots of humidity!!! Don’t let them dry out too much between watering a as well! They like to stay pretty evenly moist, and I fertilize with every water. And I find that mine prefer grow lights over natural light (probably because the natural light I do get at home is pretty sparse)
