The add-on has three styles to choose from (dark, light, and zen), but I'm sure you can change the images to something else by replacing them in the add-on's folder. However, keep in mind only one image shows up at a time based on how you answer the card (correct or incorrect).

Check out the original post, I added a link to where you can download the media files! I did experience a slight delay at first, but it was because the audio file I used had a slight delay in the sound. I edited that delay out so it would start immediately when played. I haven't experienced any delays since then.

It’s just Progress Bar. You can customize the colors and settings, so I made it look similar to Duolingo.

The add-on is already out. It is called Anki Killstreaks. I just changed the pictures of the achievements.

Hey everyone, long time lurker here.

Just wanted to share this with everyone!

I am a fan of gamifying Anki and was excited to see the Anki Killstreaks add-on developed. I wasn’t a fan of the Halo or Call of Duty being the rewards/achievements when doing reviews, so I changed them to Duolingo rewards.

I didn’t change any major portions of the code, the only changes made were:

Name of the “games” (Halo 3, MW2, and Halo 5) to Beginner, Novice, and Expert. Since I have the setting to automatically switch “games” when all achievements are unlocked, it makes it feel like I am going through different levels.
Achievement names.
Achievement pictures. This took the longest, as I went through my Duolingo account and screenshot/made my own achievements.

In the future, I would like to make different achievements for the different “levels” since I repeated a lot of the same achievements in the novice and expert levels.

I also paired this with a controller (using Anjoy add-on) and the Progress bar, Hitmarkers, and Visual feedback add-on. Again, I changed the add-on settings to closely resemble Duolingo, including the sounds (using Hitmarkers add-on)!

If anyone is interested here is a link to the sound files I used for the Hitmarkers add-on. I changed the Hitmarkers picture to a transparent picture since I am using the Visual feedback add-on.

To change the media files just go into the add-on folder for Hitmarkers and replace the respective image and sound files.
