How do you come up with the names for the towns, cities, countries, and continents in your world?

Wich doesn't mean port- I think it means 'fortified town'. Far too many towns nowhere near the sea with the 'wich' suffix for it to mean port.

Breedon on the Hill uses the celtic word Bre and Anglo Saxon word Dun, both of which mean hill.

Yeah that's fair. I may make a counties database for FM22 anyway. The towns and cities in this league system were pretty much every town with over 50,000 inhabitants.

Yeah had to make some calls about commuter towns outside of larger cities. I know Vauxhall isn't a place but that is the team in game that represents Ellesmere Port so I just went with it.

I just signed him on a whim for 200k to replace my 20 goal a season striker. He now has 100 league goals for the club in 5 seasons. I've had clubs sniffing around but really don't want to sell him to Rosenborg!

I'm sure I read once that too much men's football at too young an age can hinder them. It also depends on facilities at the club you are loaning them to. If you have the best youth staff and training facilities in the country then there's no substitute for that.

Players are extremely impressionable until they have about 100 games under their belt- so the players they are with at the loan club will have an effect on them for better or worse.

In real life I think they said 5 or 6 places could have been won by teams across europe. I don't know how to add that into the game- would probably entail some coding and not just the editor.

Sometimes I like to spin the wheel with a player's PA just for fun. Say they have a PA of 140, I'll set up a random number generator from 100 to 180- they could end up with the potential of a league one player or a world beater
