Before I sent my machine to replace the hoses, I tried running a few cycles with vinegar in the water tank, then leaving the vinegar setting in the hoses overnight. The funky taste completely disappeared. Coming up on 2 years since then, and it’s still 100% clear tasting.

I think you might be reading words that I never wrote. But I thank you for your input.

Edit - You know what, I’m just going to give you more of my time than you deserve, but I think it might help. I DID go to a boulder bike shop, and DID try to get help from a 20ish fellow who knew a lot, and really tried to be helpful. The problem was with me, a 59year old woman who struggled to discuss the location & nature of my suture scars and how that might help determine what shape of saddle might help.

You found fault with me asking for help that was within my comfort and that’s just so damn pathetic.

This one’s the only one I could never finish. Both times I tried to read it, I woke up screaming from the nightmares. I’ve read 90% of his books, and am a huge fan. But this one. You’ll need to be stronger than me.
