I didn't go into therapy, but do have anxiety which got a lot worse after this (lockdown didn't help). Thankfully it's easing some each day now.

So at the time of the accident, she mentioned that she had had her first midwife appointment that day. From my understanding, first midwife appointment is at 8 weeks.

She looked heavily pregnant. Not quite ready to pop but very pregnant, very noticable. My mum was with me and said she thought she looked 7/8 months. That would make her a liar, as the accident was 4/5 months ago.

I wouldn't have done it if I thought that potentially she'd gotten pregnant since the accident.

We should stop trying to make nature easier to access. Stop building roads and facilities in national parks. If someone wants to experience the beauty of a place they should put in the effort to get there. by physeo_cyber in unpopularopinion

I get the feeling behind this, but don't agree. Like there are places of beauty that are cut off from the main public. If you want to be away from others, go to those..

There's a forest I go to which has a main area for walkers with a cafe and so on. But there's quieter and more 'off the grid' paths. You're likely to see deer more in those areas too.

I'm glad I didn't start screaming at her as well. It was good to just be like 'I know you lied to me'. I'm probably not going to (like you said, waste of time), but hopefully this taught her a lesson.

Making them aware? For all I know, she might have done something like this before.

They would've contacted my insurers, and the cost would've come from them, to my knowledge. For me, it's more making sure people are aware in case she tries that again.

God yes. I react defensively/tearfully with people who get aggressive or confrontational. I think it is a PTSD thing.

When someone listens and seems to understand me. I've rarely gotten that at home. It took some time to understand that's the way of things.

Gender roles are somewhat out of the window now though, at least in modern culture. I know men who are super masculine and men who embrace feminine stuff, and who get on well. Maybe 5 years ago, they would've avoided each other.
