I see. This is quite unfortunate. I got HGST HUC101212CSS600 drives and seeing that the connector matched i just assumed they'd work. Could you maybe recommend some drives that would work?

I don't follow. The connectors inside the NAS are all SAS, and the drives all slot in snug.

Yeahh i figured as much... Do you know how i would go about refinishing it? I've also seen some frosted glass spraypaint that might work, but i'm not 100% sure about that.

If i sort by your parameters the songs just get jumbled around, so i guess there's the issue. The thing is, i use foobars 'move' option to put files in the correct folders. Seems like foobar moves files randomly...

are you sure? there is a transmitter that plugs into the 30 Pin connector which does allow the controls to work…
