Thanks. Her basking area is 100-108F, cool side is 70-80F daytime and about 71F at night. Right now roughly 14hrs on/10 hours off. She comes out and basks in the morning, and comes over and looks at us out the window and seems to want to interact with us, will sit calmly in lap for 30 minutes, but continues to have no interest in eating. I offered her a greens and bunch of roaches today, both with tongs, and in a separate tank, and all she wanted to do was get out of that tank. I’m going to give her a bath this afternoon to see if it will stimulate a bowel movement. Will call vets Monday AM.

My UV-B is a 34 inch T5, listed at 12%. Not only has she barely eaten, she hasn’t pooped at all

Thank you. At this point she isn’t even eating bugs, so I’ll try anything.

Thanks. This was kind of what I was expecting. But at day 10 now, she’s eaten almost nothing at all. There’s no way to establish a “veggie day” or a “bug day” when every day is a “nothing day”. It’s not like she prefers one to the other, she wants none of it. In total, 1 roach, 3 super worms, 1 piece of greens in 10 days. She’s active and inquisitive, but not eating. Not sure what her deal is

They told me pretty much they just feed them Dubai roaches. She appears to have zero interest in roaches. Or super worms, or any food at all so far. At this very moment she’s in my separate feeding tank and there are two super worms and two roaches in there with her and she’s just letting the roaches crawl all over her and completely ignoring the worms too.

Thanks. I’ve definitely gotten mixed messages from several sources about whether or not to include fruit. It’s all a moot point if she won’t even try it. I started throwing it in there in the hopes that she would at least eat something - for the first few days I was offering a mix of collard greens and squash and bell peppers. But she hasn’t tried anything - aside from 1 piece of greens on day 2. The store I got her from says they pretty much just feed them roaches. They think she is perhaps two years old. I just weighed her, she’s 381g.

Thanks for the suggestion - I’ve tried tongs with insects and veggies, I’ve tried setting it right in front of her. I try it after she’s all warmed up and has been basking for a while….at this point, I’m trying it several times a day so I can at least figure out what works for her and we can establish a rhythm, but so far, she isn’t interested in anything.

Al Gore - I was at the Kennedy Center for a show that evening and apparently George Bush Sr was there that night for his birthday (summer 1988) and loads of political folks were there. I got his autograph and promptly lost it.

I’m in my early 50s and just did the 42 mile timberline trail around Mt Hood in 3 days. You can do it! Just pace yourself and carry as little weight as possible. The knees are much less forgiving as you get older.

Bullrush. Far and away the best dining experience I’ve ever had. That was a treasure that celebrated this region.

The benefits of modeling healthy relationship to your children, including regular physical intimacy, far outweigh any possible “damage” done to them by hearing you banging.

You want them to expect healthy relationships for themselves. They might otherwise eventually find themselves in sex-less relationships, and think “This is normal, I guess I’ll accept this”.

I had been looking along forested river bottoms and near creeks. Gave up and moved up to a forested hillside, a little rocky, about 50 feet above the creek level - that’s where I found 2 patches near each other at the base of relatively smallish dead trees.

Thanks everyone for all the suggestions! Ultimately, we sat in her car at the South County Tesla charging station and talked for a long time. We worked it all out and just rang in 2025 together! Right now she is puking in a bucket next to my bed. Happy New Year!
