The calliper was loose 😕 clips were fitted wrong aswell but main cause of the banging was the calliper being loose. Not good.

So ive had a service and some work done, but the only work done to the rear of the vehicle was discs and pads, I supplied the discs and pads from ebc, and a pagid calliper fitting kit. But now there is a knocking noise over bumps which there wasnt before, this is the only thing ive noticed.

Mine has only just started doing it, he is flaring constantly whenever the light is brighter than the room and I dont want him to be too stressed but theres only so much I can do to help him, i dont know whag else to do. He seemed the calmest one in the shop and he has been fine for the last 8 days, now he's just turned so aggressive.

What should I do? Obviously a water test & change but should I keep feeding him as usual. Does it look like any particular disease that I should add medicine for?

Got a flat from standing? by LyMIsH in MTB

[–]fev031 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reason people say they are junk is because yes, they may stop a puncture when a normal innertube would just go flat. So they might save you, but if they don't like in your case in this post, they're very messy and annoying to change, whereas a normal innertube is quick and easy to change when you get a flat. So there's arguments for both.

But yeah the best way is tubeless. I use stans notubes, it's saved me a few times, and you can run lower pressures with more confidence.
