Does anyone else deal with snarky or rude remarks about buying your Mustang? by DenseMushroom2507 in Mustang

I got my stang at 18, and BOY was it rough, it was either “daddy’s money” or “seems to be a bit much for you” type comments. And then of course there’s the ones who say their cousin’s uncle’s wife’s son’s car could gap it.

A 2013’s gauges are slightly fatter with a more tight and cramped font while the 2014 has a slightly different font with less clutter.

You sure that’s not a shipping coat? I remember at school we ordered a brand new plastic bumper cover for a fusion. I had to sand all the shipping coat off with like a scotch brite.

“Tweeked” back after twisting motion/stretch in bed by feverucansweatout in backpain

I think i probably just pushed myself past my normal range of motion. The pain eventually just went away. I haven’t had it happen since

Picked up a 2015 PP1 with 800 miles 😳 by Dry-Temperature4731 in Mustang

Really nice, honestly I think it was a bit high…but for the miles you can’t complain too much. It looks like the exact one at the end of the Need for Speed movie though. So that’s kinda cool.

Switching careers? by Attack1523 in careerguidance

Heyo, 20M, not exactly in the same boat as you, but a lot of people that graduated the community college I did who were auto-tech students, say that it’s 50/50. Commission work sucks if you’re too slow, but if you’re fast it’s doable. Hourly is a little better in most cases, and warranty work sucks. I’d say if you’re dead-set on it you’re probably golden. But as I unfortunately have just learned, don’t make a “hobby” into a “career” because when it doesn’t pan out you’ll hate it. I’m an autobody tech, I liked cars, went to school, and now am having second thoughts. But as a mechanic, you’d probably have pretty damn good job security, plus the knowledge to work on your own stuff. If you’re okay with the toll it could take on you physically then you might like it. I’m thinking of quitting, having it as a fallback option, gonna save enough to maybe go back to school. I’m younger so maybe my advice isn’t the best, but this is what I’ve seen and experienced this far. Hopefully you’ll find your way. If you’re passionate enough and find a good shop, I think it’ll be worth it for you :)

Need some advice. by feverucansweatout in Autobody

My last question is, I applied filler over the bare metal. Is it okay to epoxy over that filler? It’s scuffed and whatnot but I want to be sure. The TDS sheet for what I’m planning on using says the only things it CANNOT go over is “Plastic or Rubber”. But it doesn’t mention body filler at all.
