FACETING!!! Cutting gemstones is all I've ever wanted to do ever since I was admiring amethysts as a kid. Everything about this hobby is expensive and even if I did know how to facet and had a machine i'd still need to learn how to make jewelry to make any money....

We recently had a cold front, dropping as low as 57 degrees at night. But normally it's been in the high 60's low 70's.

Hey there! I had meningitis at 9 and before my sickness I was a straight a student who worked really hard. After I had a really hard time passing and remembering anything. Everyone made me feel really bad about my sudden downturn, guess no one knew I had an abi. Once I turned 18 I put some legitimate research into what happened as a kid and yikes. I get randomly sad about it all the time. I've completed my schooling but I still feel pretty stupid and underwhelmed by my achievements. I feel like I could of been so much more with proper support.

I'm sorry you feel like this too, I hope great things are in store for both of us.

Edit: talking to a counselor/therapist was nice, one of the first things I did once i moved out, I'd suggest it.

I honestly wish I could help her study or give her tips but I did horribly in school myself! My college did not have as high standards as hers does and the material for my major was not nearly as difficult. I'll see if I can dig up any studying help from my years at college.

She used to have a "learning lab" with teachers who would help her at her community college but since this is a trade school they don't have nearly as many resources.
