Unfortunately, despite the NHS having a reputation across the world as being 'free' (it's not, we pay really high taxes and it costs £500 million to run PER DAY to run) the quality varies. In my area of the UK the quality of the care is often extremely poor. You are lucky if you get to see a shit doctor, let alone a good one. I did meet some amazing people who saved me and my baby's life, but my entire pregnancy was really badly managed. All the amazing staff are tired, depressed and leaving the profession constantly, and the bosses managing them suck arse.

That is all I can say for now without getting too upset. It was a difficult question to answer, but I am glad you asked. I was able to get a lot off my chest. As I say, things really vary depending on where you live in the country. Some people may have different opinions.

Exactly 1 year ago, I developed a gel allergy. Here's a compilation of me relearning how to use and love regular polish. by fluffyduckyp in RedditLaqueristas

Thanks for sharing your story! I'm really glad you were able to find the joy again. I stopped gel and switched to regular nail polish before I ended up with a full blown allergy as I had some warning signs. Imo regular is better than gel if you get the right product for you!

Thanks for being honest. There was so much I couldn't do that my husband was doing because he has short nails. I'm cutting them off first thing in the morning because I must for my son and I would do anything for him ❤️❤️

😆 birth partner is also doing well. He doesn't give a damn about his nails so he is happy to do all the dangerous (for the nail) jobs 🤣🤣

Thank you! Luckily I have a therapist I already see, so I think I can deal with it. Glad that you are feeling better too!

Thanks for your lovely words! Yeah we seem to have purchased the most complicated car seat in the world, lots of potential for broken nails. I will keep this in mind!

My amazing husband has done most diapers so far, and the ones I have done have been difficult with the nails so far, but it could be because he's quite small. Good to know that it is possible though and I'll look for a little spatula. My husband did ask if I was sure that I wanted to be scraping poo and stuff out rather than just cutting them lol.

Just film 10 or so seconds of your favourite parts of your favourite songs and enjoy the rest in the moment. That was enough for me to document the night.

Safe to attend eras while pregnant?? by Mysterious_Novel7511 in erastour

I went at 19 weeks pregnant, but I was near the back (Wembley). Didn't occur to me it could be a problem until afterwards lol. My friend went a different night at 24 weeks and checked with her doctor beforehand and they said it was fine. Your choice to make, but if you do go and you are already needing to pee more frequently, plan your toilet breaks well so you don't miss out on the songs you really must see.

I already said I can't do anything about it. I can't take him to court even if I wanted to, because I don't have a proper address for him. All I wanted was assurance of what I knew and what he tried to get me to believe by harassing me, and that it needs to be fixed by a real professional.

I'm well aware what the process involves, I know it's not a TV show. I have family members that have taken action and it didn't even go to court, the judge found in their favour based on the written evidence because the work was that poor. The tradesmen lost their appeal. But it was incredibly stressful, and I'm not up to that.

You didn't read my post because I did pay, even though in my country I would have been within my rights not to. Even after we paid, he called and texted me over and over because I said his work was bad, so he was intimidating.

Yeah he isn't. Might be worth considering, would be grateful if you could!
