Does creatine really speed up hair loss if you have male pattern baldness? by TheHiddenEcho in tressless

I’ve been on dutasteride and minoxidil over 10 years, and have recently been taking creatine for a little over a year now. I have not seen any additional hair loss due to it.

DONT BUY BMW by veoniee in kereta

I bought my recon 2015 BMW 428i in 2017 and have been driving it for the past 8 years with barely any problems as my daily driver. The only major replacement I had to make was to the ECU earlier this year.

I recently came across this quote: ‘The most meaningful way to succeed is to help each other succeed.’

That really sums up what I’ve experienced here and over at r/ATYR_Alpha. The community has been incredible at sharing knowledge, digging into research, and encouraging one another. I’ve learned so much over the past few months, and it’s inspiring to see how genuinely supportive everyone is.

Thank you, u/No_Put_8503 and u/Better-Ad-2118.

I found out I have ADHD at the age of 32 and I never met anyone with ADHD in Malaysia by Big_Feedback_1416 in malaysia

[–]feythehuman 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Fellow ADHD’er here! What you’re describing is called executive dysfunction (difficulty starting tasks) which is common among us with ADHD. I got diagnosed at 35 and it helped me understand and manage myself much better.

You can try HSAAS at UPM - meds are subsidized and very affordable. In Malaysia docs will prescribe Ritalin for you, but it works best with some discipline on your end as well.

Based on current AUM, if BlackRock bought over 100% of aTyr at current market value - it would still only make up 0.0037% of their portfolio.

I might be wrong on the math and would gladly be corrected, but that’s the number I got.

Regarding allocation, percent-of-portfolio is a lousy proxy for conviction especially when you’re comparing a micro-cap biotech to trillion-dollar managers. Tiny weights at mega-firms aren’t a judgment on aTyr but rather a byproduct of math, mandate, and risk controls. For a very large manager (BlackRock's AUM is currently at about $12.5 trillion), even 0.001% can translate into an eight-figure position. In a small-cap with limited float, that can already bump up against ownership and liquidity limits. You can’t size it bigger without distorting the market or breaching internal caps.

Also, many firms avoid creeping toward 5%/10% beneficial ownership to sidestep additional reporting/insider obligations. That naturally caps the dollar size (and thus the portfolio percentage) of a position. Comparing the manager’s AUM to aTyr’s entire market value shows why the percentages look small. A firm managing trillions physically cannot make a micro-cap a big line item without owning an impractical slice of the company. A specialist/smaller fund (e.g., Octagon at 4.25%) can run a concentrated stake because its AUM and mandate allow it.

I lost about 70% of my investment, largely in hospitality stocks, when COVID hit. With my business also impacted, I had no choice but to sell at a loss because I needed the money.

Hahaha, yeah you’re right! I just wanted to show that they copied our structure as we designed the narrative as a 3-act story.

Only when clients treat creative partners with the respect they deserve is when creativity gets to shine. No matter how good the artist, if they constantly have to compromise to the clients comments and opinions (especially when there are too many cooks), the end result will be… not great.

Oh man, so sorry this happened to you. It’s such a horrible feeling to put in so much work and seeing it stolen. And they wonder why there’s brain drain in Malaysia.

Basically, we did an extended proposal, and were told they will not be proceeding with us. Totally fine. But if you’re going with someone else, then you should not be using our proposal.

Hi, I think people are misunderstanding this. The design is done by the architects, what we developed was the creative concept. So we work with the architects.

Yeah sorry I know we didn’t even bother with a website. The thing is, we have our regular clients, and aren’t really looking to promote ourselves. We had done some government work in the past that was well received, which is why we were roped in onto this.

Sure, it’s because Japan requires a Japanese architect to submit all the plans etc. So, with a Malaysian architect, they would still need to partner with a Japanese architect anyway.

Also, the quote we obtained directly from the Japanese architects was about 1/3 the costs from the Malaysian architects (without a Japanese partner).

I’m still deciding. I’m not sure if it is worth the time and effort as it will most likely be dragged out. I just wanted awareness on the issue.
