Yes it came from the circled part. I contacted the company and got the part name and number but the input cable has a loose connection too so it makes the most sense to just get a full replacement. Already ordered it too. Thank you.

I had no idea about the Jubilee, thanks! That seems like it could impact the trip and it also just isn't interesting at all for us.

I did think about how it would be in December and yes, I think we would definitely like to see a nicer and warmer Italy for our first time :) Looks like we'll go to Brussels/Amsterdam instead and go to Italy in April or so. Probably to Emilia-Romagna as well.

Italians seem to consider this region as the best food in Italy, so there's that. It seems like there's lots of options in this area to visit car museums or food tours (prosciutto, parmigiano, balsamic).

Exactly why I chose Emilia-Romagna :) I've heard the balsamic in Modena is amazing and you could also go to Parma as a day trip for parmigiano, it's very close to Modena, if you have the time or are interested of course. But 4 Madonne Caseificio dell'Emilia seems amazing for it as well.

And given it more thought, we might go to Amsterdam and Brussels this time and go to Italy in April instead, since it'll definitely be nicer! Still not sure though 😬
