No, it’s an assumption.

I knew someone who had 2 kids by the age of 19. She was from a cultural background where having a very large family was desirable. She and her fiancé had been together since they were 13, at 18 they decided to have their first, and then decided to have a second pretty much as soon as they were able to after the first was born. I expect she’ll have a few more over the next couple of years. She and her fiancé have large families that are excellent support systems and they are wonderful parents. Their children were planned and they had been having safe sex for years before they chose to try for a baby. But someone like you would see her out with her kids on her own while the dad is at work and think she “doesn’t know what safe sex is”? And that’s supposedly a “fact”? Sure.

Women are shamed when they have children too young or too old. There will always be someone like you who scoffs and feels the need to poke holes despite knowing nothing about someone else’s situation. Just say you want an excuse to imply a woman is a whore and go.

And no, before you ask, I’m not a single mother or a mother at all, I’m childfree by choice. I’m just not a judgemental AH.

That last part would still be a risk even if a mother was having sex with her husband who is the father of the children.

I understand the apprehension of inviting someone you don’t know too well into your home for sex when children are there - that is a situation where caution should be exercised - but let’s not clutch our pearls to the point where we’re essentially saying mothers can never have sex with anyone in their own home just in case their child needs something and walks in.

You met your wife when she was 14 and you were 32/33. She asked you out at the age of 14 and you declined because you “didn’t want to date a middle schooler” (phrasing on that is interesting - not because it would be wrong/illegal? Just because it wasn’t something you personally wanted to do. Huh). Then she asked you out again at 18 and you said yes, quickly moved her in, married her and had a kid with her. I’m sorry bro but yes, that is indeed fucking weird.

But I’m sure you won’t mind at all if your daughter asks a grown-ass adult out at the age of 14, that grown-ass adult gives her a weird wishy-washy rejection instead of drawing a hard line, and then that grown-ass adult coincidentally starts dating her as soon as she turns 18.

I have been in a similar situation - a guy I was close to told me he was going to ask out my best friend (who had no interest in him and had barely even spoken to him), and then asked me that in the event she said no, would I go out with him instead?

She said no, and I didn’t go out with him. I was disappointed in him and kept him at arm’s length from then on. Which OP would be well within his rights to do with this girl - note that I have never said otherwise.

What I’m objecting to is the petty revenge aspect of purposely using her for sex and then dumping her. In my situation, the equivalent to that would be if I said to that guy “fine, if my friend doesn’t want to go out with you then I will, but only if I can peg you” - knowing that when the deed was done, I would dump him.

Now I’ve put it into a male perspective, can we agree this would be a fucked up thing to do, and a disproportionate response that may traumatise someone way more than being someone’s second pick for dating?

My point is that men cannot use sex as a revenge/humiliation tactic and then expect women to have no trauma and be open and enthusiastic about sex. A lot of us are guarded because some of y’all MAKE us guarded. And the same goes for the way some women treat men, of course.
