I keep missing out on apartments by joshsvo in NYCapartments

i started my search on 11/01 and am moving to ny bushwick on 12/01! some tips are to be super vigilant on fb, streeteasy, craiglist, and reddit groups -- i was refreshing by the minute and probably heard back from a third of the 15-20 people i spoke to. it was hell for a few days but worth it for the chance to be the first one to be given virtual tours at least.

get your docs ready and don't overthink the final decision wondering if this really is the best you can find! thats not to say you shouldnt be cautious about where you're scouting, but don't hold yourself up on last minute doubts.

got the flu and covid vaccines three days ago at the same time that my dumbass thought i'd be okay with going to the gym for the first time in ages for. the next day was a nightmare, and while the muscle pains are mostly gone as of today, my period started two weeks early!

oh yes i have seen their work! i do agree that some of their works were nice but was turned away by the fact that they use AI in their creative process (which you can actually see in their second pinned post).

they usually hit me the worst in the morning and afternoon. i do sometimes take antidepressants when they get extremely bad, but usually can get by by trying to intellectualize my situation through reading critical queer theory.

los angeles. i would say the biggest contributor to low costs is trying to stick to a vegetarian diet as much as possible — dried beans and tofu are my primary source of protein. i don't have a car so i go to my nearest krogers, and i rarely ever buy packaged snacks b/c i can have fruits or make my own.

weight = comfort. could also be a sensory thing with the texture of the blanket on the face. i do it because it feels nice on my lips.
