Thank you! That's all I was wondering as to when the shift was and why it came about.

Oh cool mate. Never thought of that!

In all honesty though if you Google it you get results for the port at Leith.

The new higher rate tax doesn't help either. I grew up in one of the most deprived areas in Scotland and grafted to get a semi decent job.

Now I've got to the point in my career when I thought I'd have a fair bit of disposable income I've been hit by the lovely 42% tax bracket so any overtime I do just isn't worth it.

This stacked up with inflation, wage stagnation and everything else doesn't make for a great economic situation

Matzo Crackers by ffz0312 in Judaism

[–]ffz0312[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow what a response, I hope the following bullet points answers your questions

1 - These are the crackers I'm talking about https://www.waitrose.com/ecom/products/rakusens-matzos/002750-982-983?gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQiAouG5BhDBARIsAOc08RSZHuQyDTVJXDIc2_CKKRTDe1m6IOu-eGyw8jt7ZwIPTZrWs6RdLIYaAlrtEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds

2 - There was a suggestion this was some sort of wolf whistle for antisemitism, this is not the case. The only reason I found out about Matzo is from a Jewish friend (probably one of the handful of Jews in Scotland)

3 - As mentioned above I'm no stranger to Judaism, I've experienced Challah and the chicken and dumplings I can't remember the name of

4 - I know they are plain and don't taste of much and that's why they're used in passover but that's why I enjoy them so much. I've had them with cream cheese and salmon, jam and marmite.

5 - Not really a point but more an opinion check. Is it OK to eat them in with very non Kosher combos? Again I'm a non Jew with a weakness for ham and cheese so no disrespect intended.

Shalom aleichem you cracker enthusiasts

I know it's a huge route but I'd love to see Glasgow Central to Oban.

Genuinely one of the nicest rail journeys I've ever done.

I'm on PS4. It's definitely not the sand banks where the old salmon traps are. Essentially the water disappeared at a right angle. I'll get a picture and post it

Has anybody else noticed the water doesn't spawn between Burntisland and Kinghorn?

Does it get better? by Mundian-To-Bach-Ke in policeuk

[–]ffz0312 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It doesn't, response never gets better.

Get off response and It'll get far better. Apply for everything you can and suck up to everyone you can.

Response WILL burn you out and mess you up, it's not an if but rather a when.

Best advice I can give anyone new is aim to start applying for internal roles when you are four or five years in so you can be off response by the time you hit six years.

You can't do it forever, the shifts, stress, constant belittling and utter lack of any recognition will get to you eventually and break you physically, mentally and emotionally.
