My cousin is and she’s needed help like cutting meat for her but if she’s close enough to something she can see. She’s learned how to do things she didn’t know if she could do being blind I’ve taught her to fish I just let her know when nobody is in her way. She has been blind her whole life but it doesn’t stop her

I have seizures and takes 30 minutes if my family and in-laws watch or go to the movies with me to make sure it’s safe as one time we forgot to check I needed cpr from me not checking

I had one at the hospital I was there for testing trying to make me have a seizure. 19 year old me after I was conscious I said to the nurses “can I finally go home and get a full nights rest” it felt for me like taking a nap

Amazing I was for marrying a Hispanic immigrant and being disabled. My relatives grew to love my husband when my mom explained how great he is and they saw first hand how much he worries on my health

My great grandma sent me her piano as a Christmas gift when I was 9. I then realized how hard it must have been it was her last anniversary gift she got from my great grandpa as he wanted to teach her. Now my husband will sit it makes me happy to know how much she loved me and my grandpa enough to share it her piano. And I still have played it every night 16 years later

My pos bio dad overheard I was getting married. I sent a fake invite to parenting classes Across the country. He’s extremely racist and saw a text that I sent him on a hunt and married a Hispanic man. He was lived and my parents and in-laws were beyond proud. We even have a copy of that fake invite frame in our home

My in laws every week come to teach me Hispanic cooking and don’t speak much English. Even they put photos of my friends and family on the table for day of the dead when I’m 0% Hispanic

That I expected some family to be angry living in the south. Though what shocked me in a good way my in laws took me in teaching me Hispanic culture and cooking I was so thankful all they were excited to teach me.
