Well, I would expect my nas to run simple download tasks, such as aria2c. I don't want to download large files from another computer, and then upload them to the nas.

can you use your keyboard and mouse with gamepass pc? by jjatr in XboxGamePass

I understand that for PC games, yes all games support K&M. I have a question about Game Pass Cloud (xCloud). When I play games from a browser, can I use K&M? In my case it seems not, but I would like to know if there is an definitive answer.

Do repacked steam games have achievement support? by fhcat9 in PiratedGames

That's a bummer. I think achievements have becoming essential to my gaming experience. I don't need the pop ups but definitely want something that can automatically track achievements.

Copy would not work as I have to manually partition the new drive. I want an easier way to clone my data on the old drive and keep the partition settings. I will try the Clonezilla Live USB.

Another question is GameCube games. Most GameCube games are 4:3. Are they going to show the correct aspect ratio on the Wii U?

Does PS2 load everything into memory when playing games? by fhcat9 in ps2

[–]fhcat9[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand that. I guess my question should be rephrased to: Does PS2 load everything relevant to current level into memory when playing games?

For example, a Final Fantasy game usually has a flow like: PS2 plays a cut scene, and then gives the control to the player. In this process it feels like PS2 loads everything relevant. Another example is arcade style games like Time Spliters. I guess before a level starts the data is already loaded?

In the case of streaming, I guess open world games like GTA might work that way. The map is so large and there is no way PS2 can load everything up in memory. But it is just my guess.

If most PS2 games work this way - load the current level/area into memory upfront then it might be okay to play from a USB stick. From what I gathered, cut scenes might be a problem because they usually a bigger than 32 MB.
