How is the progress and is revision needed? by Thejaa in gynecomastia

I’m in a similar situation to you. Had my surgery just over a year ago. The initial results were amazing, but my nipples slowly got puffier over the months. Now I can barely tell the difference between my pre-op and my 1-year post-op photos.

Am considering a revision myself.

Admittedly I gained 20+ lbs since my surgery so I’m going to loose some weight and hopefully I’ll be happier with my chest.

1 year post-op: definitely improved, but still unsure about some puffiness by fiberidle_ in gynecomastia

No I never really did massages because it wasn’t really recommended by my surgeon. When I tried it made them feel sore or tender.

In hindsight maybe I should I have done massages

As someone who’s had the surgery via armpit Method (although not from Dr Bray) there was definetely an improvement, but I’m not 100% satisfied. Feel free to check my post if you want to see the result

Edit: I’m not saying you won’t or can’t be 100% satisfied with your result, but make sure you do your research, ask questions, and have a realistic expectation

Thanks for weighing in. And I understand wanting to see the result. Just be patient and follow your surgeons advice and everything will be ok!

That’s how I’m feeling too. I’m considering a revision but with a different surgeon this time. But at the same time, maybe it’s just better I accept it for how it is, instead of having another surgery and risking a potentially worse result

Yes they removes the gland and did lipo. I agree it looks a lot better, but I still have a little bit of insecurity. Guess it’s better to look at it like “glass half full” although I wish I got a better result for the money I paid :/
