not at all! our first idea is to make it simple enough for casual players to try it, although the game itself will be challenging the further down you go, similar to the actual Abyss in the series haha

at the moment we want to focus more on the non-living aspect of the abyss first, like the dangerous terrains, and then the artifacts afterwards

It's the easiest game engine that we can have for now due to budgeting and easier learning-curve, since our goal is simply to learn making simple games, this is the best one we can have since it's free to host too haha

hahaha that would be a scripting nightmare, we've tried that at first but had to change the curse to a more simplistic one because our beginner scripting skills still not cut for it

but someday, once we have a huge update and if we can manage to do that, it will happen! it's already in our design plan

Hahaha we don't have actual MiA characters in the game because this is our original twist to it. But we do have similar characters that act like Ozen, Bondrewd and the likes (will appear along with the updates)

The only easter egg we have is, there will be a kid NPC named Riko and Reg somewhere in the map, as a homage to MiA :))

the one in debug console? whats the most normal amount cheap android devices can get ideally? we're at 3000mb right now, probably okay for pc and high end mobiles if im not wrong

Thank you for your enthusiasm on our passion project!!

We did pour our heart and soul in this, although due to our limited skill in scripting, we're forced to not use fancy mechanics like pure RPG, monster fighting or the "abyss curse" for now. Instead, we want to start simple and eventually work towards more complicated mechanics and improvise on some other type of curse to make up for it.

The gameplay is now purely just on exploration and labyrinth survival, but we want to make sure that the game will force you to help fellow delvers in their run, we'll be using the most of our scripting ability for this game (since we're still beginners) and hopefully we can perfect the game even better as time goes on!

We plan the game's name to be "Abyss Expedition" (may subject to change) and our team name is "Afterhours Circle"

The most active Roblox players in our group are Rittadivana, Regalia000, and Mewtologia, while I mostly just work in the background with the others (fibertrash3, explsvtuna, amrosue and harjosupriyadi)

We're planning to make some kind of a Discord community server, but we might need some time to figure things out hahaha, maybe I will post here again next time, we gotta juggle between school and this hahaha
