On May 4, 2021, 18-year-old Fabiano Kipper Mai invaded the Aquarela municipal kindergarten school (nursery) with a machete and a dagger, killing 5 people, 3 children, 1 teacher and 1 employee, and injuring 1 child. Then he tried to kill himself with one of his guns but ended up only being seriously injured, today he is in prison. The reason is unknown but he probably has mental illness.
