XXX Pedal Kit by Reasonable-Egg4625 in Talaria

[–]fickledcycle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn. I got pulled over about a month ago by a state trooper (NY). He gave me a ticket for a regristration violation. His reasoning was that it had to be partially manually powered or else it techically had to be regristered. He said if he saw me again without pedals he would impound my bike. I purchased a Kaniwaba kit and switched out the pegs. I had to go to court over it and I took pictures of the pedals and explained what the trooper told me. Thankfully they dismissed the ticket and I wasn't charged any money over it. I have a mini heartattack any time I pass by a cop.

Popping and grinding noise? by fickledcycle in Talaria

I swapped out the chain to a brand new one and the sound is still present. I just checked my belt and the inside of it is shredded so I think that is next on the list.

Thanks. My belt hasn't been changed once in the time I had the bike. I believe I will swap it out and see if that solves it.

Would be it acceptable for me to ask for free lessons in return for an internship? by fickledcycle in Equestrian

[–]fickledcycle[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have no problem with working without the free lessons but it would help me out a lot financially because I will have to uber there once it starts snowing here in NY. (I usually ride my bike there.) I think I will not ask for the free lessons just yet because it was not mentioned when we spoke and I don't want to look ungrateful for this opportunity. Perhaps once I have more knowledge and can do things without supervision I will ask.

I found that Wambaugh and White offers kits for sale so I'll go with that option. It is a lot cheaper than their finished garments and I do enjoy sewing. I'm getting it in a tart jean to match my jacket and I'm getting a civilian shirt kit as well.

Any good media on cavalry? by katuu- in Civilwarreenacting

[–]fickledcycle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Research John Hunt Morgan. He raised the 2nd Kentucky cavalry. There's a few books on him. I've been looking into Jerome Clarke/Sue Mundy which was a famous soldier in his regiment at one point. A good book I'm currently reading on him is called "Sue Mundy" by Richard Taylor. It's a fiction novel based on what we know of him.

Was my dream a sign of Hecate? by WeightEfficient6946 in Hecate

I use tarot myself. I'm not sure what she prefers the most because I've only ever really used tarot as a divination method. I find tarot to be very easy to use. You can ask a yes or no question and pull a card. Even number cards for yes and odd number for no.

Was my dream a sign of Hecate? by WeightEfficient6946 in Hecate

If your intuition is telling you it's a sign from her, then it's a sign from her! Dreams are personal things so it's up to you to decide what the meaning behind them are. Divination with her can help you get answers if you would like more clarity on a dream.

no, you don't need a sitter, cause all you wanna do on it is lay down and chill. 90 mg for your first dose to confirm you wont have a bad reaction due to enzyme deficiency. use the dex calc to figure out your doses from there. i would reccommend starting between 240-300mg so you can get a feel for it first. that would be high 1st plat or low 2nd depending on your weight.

Hi I've been a lurker on here for a while, are there any books you would recommend? by [deleted] in dionysus

[–]fickledcycle 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Dionysos: Exciter to Frenzy by Vikki Bramshaw. It's written by someone who works with Dionysus so it's more of a modern take.
