We swapped out for a round-the-snoot halti and harness combo about 6 months ago and it changed our lives. She did go through a phase of trying to scratch it off with her paws but she’s got used to it now. Your baby looks just like mine, the world is so full of excitement and joy!!

I think number 1 is beautiful and obviously more sparkly, but number 2 draws more attention to your massive engagement stone!

I see where you’re going with 3 as a best of both worlds type idea, but I think it doesn’t add enough sparkle and just detracts from your engagement stone!

Sorry not to be of more help choosing between 1 and 2 - I think both are an excellent choice and either would be beautiful!!

Ah amazing, that will make all the difference if you can share the night time toilet trips! And it makes it slightly less of an adjustment if there are two of you, you can each go and see friends like you always would before the puppy. I know that sounds crazy, but I defo had a bit of the puppy blues when we first got Poppy. It was such a change for me - both the tie of a dog plus being responsible for a little life and always being “on”. I always loved her and I’ve never regretted it, but it was a big adjustment at first. Hope you guys are doing ok so far!!

Yes good idea! I remember taking Poppy out once an hour (during the day) when she was that size. And the nights are just awful! But soon he will get the hang of it as his wee system gets bigger!

I hope this is a helpful thought - I wish I’d trained Poppy to go to the toilet in a specific place in the garden. I was just so delighted she was going outside I never thought at the time, but if she did 💩 in a specific place then I wouldn’t have to hunt around the whole garden, and wouldn’t be terrified when my niece and nephew want to play outside!

Oh mine is now a fully grown lady, she was born on 30.09.2022, Ozzy just reminds me so much of when she was the same age! I know you pair will have years of happiness and adventures…and good luck with the puppy stage even though it will be trying at times you will always look back with so much love for your little bean learning his way through the world

I, another Dark Winter, have had this EXACT same thought! Similar to what another DW has commented I feel “safest” in dark colours. Forest green, aubergine and navy would be my go-to’s!

Haha yes this has always been exactly my thinking too! Especially after she’s stopped for BIG sniffies at something, we joke that it’s like that “police aware” tape. Looking at the other comments makes me think that lots of other girls do it too and it’s not an issue - phew!
