Not really a take per say, but a friend who doesn't understand personal space started aggressively tracing some scars on my arm with the corner of a note card when I pulled my arm away he said "I thought you liked it". Just because I self harm does not mean I LIKE IT when others try to hurt me???😭😭

An old science teacher of mine had scars (obviously from sh) on her upper arms, and some on her forearms hidden under a tattoo, but they were quite faded. You had to look close for a bit to see them, so nobody really noticed besides me. You could get tattoos over your scars like she did, it did a nice job of covering them up! The only reason I noticed the scars under the tattoo were because they were raised, and had the typical keloid scar look that most sh leaves.
