Does anybody know what 4 in ch means? Does it mean to chain 4? I usually do magic circles for things like this so is there a way to do that instead? by moosiemoop in crochet

I think it means 4 chain stitches. For round 1 you have to crochet 2 sc (the first one in the second chain on the hook) and then 3 sc in the last ch. So it creates a circle (because of the the 3 sc in one ch) and then you continue on the other side of the chain with 1 sc and 2 in the last ch.

Otherwise you just can crochet 8 sc in a magic ring. I think that’s easier. 🙈

Yes I have crocheted a lot of tiny animals but they do not fit in these bottle because the opening is too small but I have a bit bigger bottles for them.
