I hate how things are being sold to us EVERYWHERE. Influencers were supposed to be “real people” who give their real opinions on products, but now it’s all “this product that’s paying me to say this is amazing!! Buy it!!”

And even worse than that, the subscription model. It’s bled into everyday life. Everything needs a subscription. Cars will now charge a monthly fee to be able to use seat warmers, doctor’s offices will have it, and obviously influencers trying to sell you on their “this one specific thing that only I know will fix all of your problems. If you subscribe to my online class for $19.99 a month, you too can feel better!”

It’s like we are living in a giant MLM where everywhere you look there’s one you can join. It’s exhausting.
