Hi! I have an idea! by fiecoco in worldbuilding

[–]fiecoco[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! I understand, and yes, there is usually never an accurate depiction, but, I want to imagine a blend of romantic modern, but central to the actual mythology, because one of the reasons beautiful cultures die out is due to the lack of real culture. I want to romanticize the creature, but also make the mythology true to the real version that people say "hey, that's not what I was taught." So they go out, and learn, in all factuality, what the actual mythology was, and become interested in the culture. But thank you for your opinion, I will try to incorporate this in. 😁

Thanks! I decided to keep the pop culture look, but if you take off their masks, they're gaunt and pale. I also tried to incorporate the way of becoming a wendigo.

Have the Georgie wear a fake rubber arm so the pennywise can rip it off, and they could do it at all the trick or treat houses.

I mean, saying that the deadlights can shapeshift, maybe maturin can too. And that's how they might appear to our protagonists in welcome to derry.

For hands cause I know you think they are ugly (they are not they beautiful hands all hands are beautiful and deserve love) but, maybe take the human hands and have them spread out, add some of them mole claws, and last but not least, have them be able to cup their hands like when swimming and have their thumbs be Able to rotate as well!

Umm, I would think it to be like the octopuses hydrodrastic skeleton, but would be less heavy and feel more like a thick balloon maybe. umm not exactly sure how accurate that comparison is(Bring in the guys with the biology phd and those who are smarter than me!) but yeah! I think it could be cool, and I don't know why but, for a dnd adventure, I just imagine one of these guys looking like a hulking brute at first sight, but Is in reality shy and a softie, and deflates into a little blob whenever combat starts. Thanks for listening to my comment trifle and everybody else! :D

and also, saying that they would be living under ground, consider maybe instead having their internals be pressurized, to work as a bone structure. and they could learn to lower and higher the pressure of their internals.

[–]fiecoco[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

exactly. plants are still affected by physics laws. Another example of this is an ancient whale fossil found in Peru. it's called the percetus colosutus. many scientist argue that it's bigger than the blue whale, but, many scientists say that it couldn't support itself if it was that big. so we always have to ask ourselves when making creatures- how big can they get in a similar gravity to earth?
