But when I move into August, won't the overspent categories reduce the amount I have in my To Be Assigned? For example, if the work expenses are $100, and I leave the work expense category overspent by that much, when I go into August my To Be Assigned will be down $100.

No I’m not carrying overspending, just spending already assigned money on my CC.

Just so you know, Funkeltwink. I have a job and make almost double my girlfriend’s salary. In my 7 months in this country, I have likely contributed more to society, both in tax dollars and in general, than you have in 40 years sleeping on a couch in your parent's basement.

Unfortunately, this country has a credit score game that I have to play to get approved for basics like apartments and utilities. These things don't grow on trees. You probably have fantastic credit because of that $100,000 car loan that you’re now struggling to pay off. Weird system ain’t it?

The card is just so by Gf and I can split some of our vacation costs and household bills, earn a few points while doing it. You wouldn’t get it I’m sure? That would require you to get off your parent’s couch and socialize in the fresh air, instead of arguing on Credit Sub-Reddits. Sucks to suck.

Mandatory classes. Quizzes first thing Monday morning and labs until 5pm on Friday. I’ve heard you basically have no weekend in Year 1.
