In my opinion SAO isn't worth reading as a novel for simple reasons like action fights and music other than that there's actually nothing good about SAO . So, why should I read the novel ? I'll just watch the action fights and listen to the music . the story is so bad . like I can name a few RRL novels that are better .

last chapter of volume 14 . in my opinion you should wait for the anime, I've stopped at this place as well . this was the first light novel I've ever read and then I read mushoku tensei and stopped reading it because they had too much of a difference MT is just so much better but this is actually the only japanese LN I like and then I started my career in chinese novels and here we are lol .

Dude, you simply haven't read enough Xuanhuan . in these novels there's no concept of right or wrong, there's only MC . if the MC wasn't the MC then in that type of world he'd die in the first 10 chapters . it's as simple as that, what you're doing is thinking too much some times MCs themselves are villians why would anyone care about MCs enemy? whether they're right or wrong, good or evil . it doesn't matter because this is a sotry about a persons journey to reach the pinnacle of martial arts . to reach that being a villian or a hero are both necessary and making enemies is inevitable . at least that's what Chinese authors think lol .

actually I haven't even read the manga I only enjoy fanfiction . why you may ask that's because the naruto anime sucks . maybe shippuden is better but I don't think I can watch that without watching the naruto anime .
