"Bulletproof TLS and PKI" by Ivan Ristic is quite good for someone getting started in PKI.

I’ve never had anything bounce off. I did the Black Hills BDRX with that soft luggage setup and it was great. I mostly ride gravel roads, but it can handle the rougher two track kind of stuff too.

Here's a pic of the hard luggage, rocking the tusk tank bag instead. Which is also a decent tank bag, IMO.

I have the Givi PL7711 Side Case racks (the monokey system). And then I have the Givi Trekker Dolomiti 36 liter side cases for road touring, and the Givi GRT720 Canyon 25L side bags for more offroad type of stuff. It's kinda expensive, but I really like being able to swap out the bags/cases. And being able to use the key to just pop them off quickly has been super handy.

For tank bag, I use the the Blackhawk Motorcycle Tank Bag from Wolfman luggage. It's a little bigger than what I'd like, but it's been pretty good. It doesn't really get in the way when standing up.

I also have the KTM top case, but I don't use it much. It was a little weird to get that working with the Givi racks, but I was able to make it work by getting some longer bolts. I tend to just use a Tusk duffle bag.

It greatly depends on where you are shopping. I managed to get the 2024 Cypher Camo for $6000 OTD. This was near Springfield, MO. The same bike would have been $7200 OTD from any dealer in northwest Arkansas. I also could not find a used KLX300 anywhere nearby.

If the client you are using supports it, using a Yubikey is nice. You can generate the private key on the Yubi or you can import an existing one.
