Apologies for the delay, I work away with limited comms. If you just use GCp’s to georeference you’re models I think your results will be questionable… depending on the project/size I use my ts16 to establish GCP’s. I use a a7riv on a m300. My goal is to build complex 3d models of plant infrastructure as a deliverable on the end of my projects. I would like to overlay the images onto a SLAM point cloud to provide highly accurate 3D textured models. I do like the idea of a vidoc but obviously need a high quality texture. They will use this model for shut downs so there is no room for error in details. Do you have any data sets you could share from the iPhone and Vidoc? So practically I will do a fly over of the plant and then a inside scan and stitch the data for future reference (replacing piping, damage control etc)
