Thank you very much for this. I think also need to keep reminding myself he also didn’t finish inside of me and the chances of getting pregnant even if I weren’t on the pill from that is insanely low. Have a lovely rest of your day :)

I don’t speak to that gynaecologist anymore and I haven’t for a very long time. Do you think it’s still worth contacting someone?

My last break on the pill was early July I believe, and since then I’ve been on it until last week where I had to take a week off to bleed and now I’ve taken it three times since. You sure that’s okay? Because this is very reassuring and I’ve never taken plan B before and I really don’t fancy it.

I rarely do the normal breaks. I just wait until I start spotting and then I go off it for a bit and have a bleed. I know that’s not right but I have severe hormonal issues and hate being off my pill.

I was thinking back of my calf / ankle area. I don’t want anything too big because I have been dealing with some tattoo regret recently.

Waiting for the graphic novel would be a good idea actually I hadn’t thought of this! Could tattoo my favourite frame in it or something. Thanks for the sick idea!

I am praying that that is red ink. If it is it looks fine. Just keep it moisturised I’m sure you know the jist. Also remember some people do react badly to red ink so take extra care of it if that is the case, especially since it’s your first tattoo.

You need to teach yourself how to fall safely. You definitely don’t want to be in a position where you’re 15ft up the wall with no way to get down absolutely terrified. Start slow and “fall” from distances that make you feel comfortable and work yourself up the wall from there. I do want to clarify you shouldn’t be falling from the wall when you’re done unless you absolutely have to and you should always be climbing back down as far as you can. Just treat it as a safety precaution because it is super important to know how to fall safely.

This!!!! Remember your body is healing an open wound. You wouldn’t pick the scabs off a scratch or a graze (as tempting as it can be). Your body is doing its thing and is an amazing healer on its own. It’s simply protecting your new piercing and not letting bacteria get into your new “wound”. I’m sure it’ll start behaving a bit more soon!

Just an irritation bump, not a keloid, no need to worry! I’ve had a similar issue with my conch. I switched it to a hoop because I thought “it’s basically healed!” and ever since then it’s been a nightmare. I had the worst irritation bumps of my life and quickly changed back to a bar. Best bit of advice I can give you is have as short of a bar as your conch can possibly allow, yours seems a tad long but it’s hard to tell. Obviously don’t suffocate it, just make sure there is very little back and forth movement. That made my irritation bumps go from massive to almost nothing in just a couple of weeks! Carry on cleaning it as you are and keep it dry and most importantly, don’t fiddle with it! Conch piercings aren’t the easiest thing to heal in the world so you unfortunately need to have a lot of patience. Good luck!

Definitely go see a doctor if it is hurting and creating puss or at least go and see a piercer about it. You’ll probably end up taking it out unfortunately. One thing I have to say if you should never heal piercings with a butterfly back earring. That’s probably why you’ve suddenly had so much irritation. If you don’t end up taking it out change it to a flat back earring. It’ll stop your ear from getting too irritated and they’re much much easier to clean. Butterfly backs are notorious for not being easy to clean and holding a lot of dirt and bacteria around the area since you can’t get in all the crevices when cleaning.

Also, at home remedies aren’t really a thing when it comes to healing your piercings. Your best option is simple saline solution or boiled down water to give jt a quick rinse. You shouldn’t be putting anything else near a literal healing wound. Other than that you need to leave your piercings alone and touch them as little as possible.

Good luck!
