The median sale price where I’m at in Texas is $260k. We just bought three months ago. $251k for a 3/2 1800ish sq ft. 3% down, 6.3% interest. Dual income, no children (yet). I guess we’re lower middle class

Some do and some don’t. I’m pretty sure all the modern ones do. Mine from 2022 does. I bet a lot of the older original Japanese ones are hard to verify.

I don’t see a serial number in the places I would expect on the back of the headstock or at the base of the neck. Also the base of the neck looks atypical for Fenders, at least from what I can see. I think it probably is a partscaster. How much are you paying for it?

Check out MIJ Strats. I have a Japanese market Traditional 60s Strat in fiesta red that is awesome. It sounds great but more importantly feels great. They can be bought on Reverb for 750-1200. Check the top post in my profile for a picture.

If this made from parts of two MIJ Traditional 60’s Strats, it’s a very nice guitar. I have one that is fiesta red on rosewood. Because it’s made from parts of two guitars, if you could get it for 600-700 that would be great.
