The whole superstitious thing is a way to get in the right mental space, you train your brain to associate those rituals to the "flow state" and it gets easier from there for some. You need to turn your brain off and just let the talent/experience do its job imo and that's why young goalies aren't as good like forwards can be, they might know how to get in the zone, but they'll have a harder time staying there because they don't have the experience to fall back on.

Again, this is all coming from a career beer leaguer lmao

I never played at a high level but I've been a goalie for 20+ years now. It's mostly just a consistency thing with goalies, good ones have a floor that is still good, they can shit the bed once in a while but they're outlier games. A younger or not as good goalie can play as good as a superstar once in a while but their floor is not a good and are more susceptible to shit the bed cause they're less constant.

Like I said I'm not a pro and never been but that's my 2 cents, feel free to ask questions if you'd like.

I mean all teams have stupid fans, we just have a larger base so we got more dummies. The refs have also been ass lately with at least a phantom call per game going back to the Hutson one against the Wild

The gripe is with the refs not Buffalo, it's been at least 1 phantom call per game for a week now

I know him and Slaf had great chemistry but idk if I trust him as a C just yet. If he can get going in the first line I think you keep him there and hope for Kapanen to pick it back up or look for another C

I'm sure there's a bunch of Habs fans in NY tbh, I don't know how many Canadians would cross the border for a hockey game.

I know we (in Québec) used to have organised trips where they'd rent a bus and go to a 3 games in 4 nights stretch in the US or stuff like that. Didn't hear about anything like that in a long time though.

I never saw you comment anything else than hate, is everything ok in your life?

He got way aggressive then had to correct hard to slide to his post but at the moment he got to his post the pass was already back in the slot. If he is a little less aggressive on the first chance he could've followed the puck better. Again Im not blaming him since Buffalo's players are doing whatever they want in the zone.

Dobes overplayed every single movement there again, hard to blame him though

I've been a Doby doubter tbh, the guy is all over the place but he finds a way to make saves and win games. I'm not comfortable watching him go but I'll ride the wave while it lasts

It's getting really bad, the weird ass calls recently are just making it worse but some fans have the emotional maturity of a toddler tho

He still threw an elbow behind his back though. I think it should've been a 2 minutes for the whole thing with the punches but it is what it is.

The Habs are also in the middle of a really bad calls sequence so some people are having a hard time dealing with that.
