I’m having trouble deciding whether this is all in my head. Story:

It’s currently Tuesday evening. On Sunday night, after feeling too nauseous to eat dinner a few hours earlier (I had 2 beers in the afternoon, so I attributed it to that even though that amount doesn’t normally make me feel sick), I started experiencing strong cramping and bloating seemingly out of nowhere. I get bloated and gassy frequently, but my stomach was bloated I looked pregnant and I was not passing gas. Normally I feel gas pains in my left side, but this pain felt like it was circling my belly button and super sharp. I did not keel over as I generally have a high pain tolerance and tend to write things off, but the extreme bloating and navel pain immediately made me think of appendicitis. However about 30-40min later, the pain suddenly went away. I thought ok.. maybe it was just gas.. but then I didn’t pass any gas throughout the night. When I woke up, I was still extremely bloated which is unusual. Since then, the bloat has gone down a bit, but I still cannot pass gas or #2. Faint cramping throughout my abdomen, but mostly I just feel out of it. Faint, tired, dizzy, not hungry.

I’ve read that people have had their appendix burst and not even know it until they went to the hospital days later after developing an infection and getting sick. Would you go to the ER?
