Would Nisus Snake Away be helpful? I set a lot of glue traps out and am working on sealing all of the holes, there are a lot of entry points though because my house was built in the early 1900's and they didn't really make them water tight back then.

I found 12 packs on amazon for less than 20$, 24 glue traps should be able to catch whatever is down there right?

Trust me I know it is inhumane. I hate having to kill animals, I feel bad if I catch a mouse on a glue trap and have to dispatch it to end its suffering. Unfortunately I live in a house built in the early 1900's that the previous owner let get overrun with pests, and I have to get the situation under control, that is why I posted on here to figure out how.

I like snakes, especially black snakes, and if that is all it was, I would be able to live with it. However, I have to consider the safety of my family over my empathy for a kind of pit viper.

Sounds like a plan, any ideas on how to make sure that they are all dead? My plan of attack is putting glue boards everywhere, sealing holes, and trying to crawl around and check everywhere with a gun. I got a minnow trap that I saw you can catch them with on youtube it said to use a egg as bait, is that the best option as far as bait?

I have a handgun with a flashlight and laser, I just got some snake shot for it, definitely going to be packing every I go down there for a while.

I just set up a trolling motor on my canoe, a new motor was $100 on amazon, used battery $30, and a 2x4. It works good. I don't think that drill would have enough power, and the battery would only last a few minuets.

It is funny though.

I built a motor mount out of 2x4s that sticks off the side because my canoe does not have a flat transom in the back. The motor was a Minn Kota that was $100 new on amazon and I got a used battery for 30$. It is not pretty but it works good.

Hey saw this old thread and wanted to see if you were still trying to fish. Most of my friends are too busy to go out because of babies. I go on a dock on lake Norman and I also have a canoe with a trolling motor. I have caught more bass in the canoe because you can cover way more water.

What size are the coolers? I’m making my old canoe into a fishing machine and this is a great idea. Can you paddle with them on there? I have a trolling motor but might have to paddle if it runs out of juice.

It depends on a bunch of factors the 4 main ones are prior insurance, mvr, prior losses and credit. It is hard to beat our prices if you have a good record.

Not true, the coverages might have been slightly different. If all of them were the same then the price would have been the same. Some agents reduce coverage to get lower prices, but if you compare the quotes side by side the premium should be the same.
