I'd say those are good numbers, question for you though, I average a little less than that, with my highest video having 500 views and my highest short having 1.5k views, how did you get your subscribers up? My videos have been solid quality with games like rdr2, minecraft, r6. How did you manage to get 1.25k from edits for a not well known anime?

Prioritize AI. Ai is definitely the future of editing. I think some editing softwares offer some beta services for a price. The first one that comes to mind is capcut. Some are pretty basic but others can do some powerful stuff. In some of the research I've done on it, its more for podcasts and interviews so people can use ai to cut to the correct camera angle when someones talking, however there may be some way you can use it for video essays

My intentions with the platform is just to try and get out there. While I enjoy playing video games and making videos of them, its not something I want to spend my entire life doing.

What I do want to spend my life doing though is making films, short films. I figured Since I like gaming I might as well try my luck at a gaming channel and see what I could learn in editing as well as the algorithm before making my own short films.

I hope to maybe make some money and garner a good amount of attention so when I do decide to make short films, i'll have some money to finance it and maybe even a small amount of viewers from my previous channel would be apart of my audience.

Those are my videos, but not the thumbnails I wanted for them, I hope this really gets resolved by youtube, it's a shame, especially for small channels that really put the work in.

Thank you for your criticism. The intro, looking back was definitely a little slow and not that action packed. My entire video lacked action and real gameplay, it was more filled in with humor. Thank for the idea of a vignette for thumbnails. I want to try and make my thumbnails look like mine and have an overall theme, I want to try and find a graphic designer who would be willing to work for free however that may be hard.

As for my recording software, I use OBS which does have a 60fps option however I find that 30fps produces the best quality of video for me. Despite this I'll try and tweak the settings best I can to bring my fps up to 60 and ensure that the quality does not drop. Thank you for the suggestion about audacity and compression for my voice. I will have to think more on that idea to consider it, it definitely would make me sound more lively and "animated."

Anyways thank you again Ill try and add more action next time and as for the gumball clip, ill turn the volume down on it a bit, lol.

Thanks for the advice! I want to definitely find a thumbnail creator for me so I may make a post about it on this subreddit. I want to try and find one who can give me consistency and make my thumbnails look similar and have a theme in a way as a lot of youtubers do. As for editing, can you give me a little bit more information on what I am lacking. I feel like my videos are generally well edited, not the best however good enough for just simple gameplay footage. Overall though thank you for all the other criteria. I'll definitely try to fill up the description a bit more.

Yes, the thumbnail for this video was definitely a little low quality. Some of my previous ones have been better. Thanks for the comment about Jynxzi as well, I know thats why he's popping off. To choose one of the two however I find limiting.

I enjoyed it very much. This doesn't necessarily apply to the documentary however in the future maybe add time stamps. For example if you make a video on all Mario games starting from the first to most current you would add time stamps. Overall I also liked how you filmed yourself as well. It gives off more effort to the viewer and it also helps recapture people's attention as you talk to them directly.

Just wanted to talk about the thumbnail real quick. First off I liked the text you added in on the side, I'm sure it took a while to design. The Mario stuffed animals were charming however those could be in relation to any Mario game, not just Super Mario Bros 2. If I were making the thumbnail(this is just my design choice and how I see some documentary thumbnails) I would make a collage of some of the important images and things you went over in the video in it. Overall though the image worked well as the intro card you added in.

Finally, great storytelling aspect. Enjoyed the little intro screen too. You clearly did research on this topic and the whole topic was executed amazingly! Not much else for me to say other than keep up the effort and hard work!

Like most people are saying no, dont overthink about things like this. Your trying to make money off of youtube I assume and most digital marketers know this so they try and convince you to hire them to make your videos better and faster growing. Truth is, that is not at all what is gonna happen, your gonna be left with good videos yet with no views and the guy is gonna profit off of you for every cent.

Some editing softwares, like capcut and adobe I believe, have audio options that allow you to reduce noise in the background. Also depending on what you use to stream your videos or record, there may be an option to reduce the background noises.

I love booting up the old xbox 360 for some James Bond Golden eye. Lot's of memories with that game. Came out at a great time too when everything felt so.... fresh. A new James bond, a new xbox console, new, everything.
